All Blacks Sevens get eighth man in internet star Zach King

The All Blacks Sevens have launched a new campaign of Vine videos today.

But the man behind the videos is a star in his own right.

US internet sensation Zach King teamed up with the rugby players to add a bit of magic to their new season.

Known for his Vine videos -- six second long looping clips -- King's Vines have had more than 1.3 billion loops and he has more than 1.1 million YouTube subscribers.

This project saw King visit New Zealand for the first time and introduced him to the world of rugby. He had never touched a rugby ball in his life before the shoot.

But watching his videos and the athleticism required it's easy to see why the New Zealand 7s enlisted the Vine star to collaborate.

From swapping novelty sunglasses to smashing watermelons and dealing with flat rugby balls, Story had the exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how much work can go into six seconds.
