All Blacks halfback Tawera Kerr-Barlow is the latest high profile player to be linked with a big money move to Europe.

French newspaper L'Equipe has reported that Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal is chasing a new halfback to replace the outgoing Jonathan Pélissié, and that he has his sights set firmly on Kerr-Barlow.

The 26-year-old has played 25 Tests for the All Blacks but is perceived as the third choice option for coach Steve Hansen behind TJ Perenara and Aaron Smith.

The two-time Super Rugby champion suffered through an injury-riddled 2016 before displaying some impressive form for the All Blacks during their annual European tour later in the year.

Kerr-Barlow would join fellow Kiwi Ma'a Nonu at the South France club.
