All Blacks sevens coach Clark Laidlaw eager to bridge the fifteens divide

Clark Laidlaw has a good history with Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd after serving as his assistant in 2015.

But today's chat was all about the future, and discussing how sevens and fifteens can work together.

Laidlaw's already met with the Chiefs and will catch up with Blues staff this weekend.

He's also spent time with interim coaches Tomasi Cama and Scott Waldrom as they prepare to pick a squad for the Wellington tournament later this month.

But Laidlaw will have already returned to his job as London Irish coach by then, and admits it's not an ideal scenario.
