Highlights: Arsenal show title credentials with convincing win over Swansea

It may not have been the sparkling Arsenal performance many fans would have hoped for, but they were still far too good for a Swansea side that looks destined for relegation, claiming a 4-0 victory in south Wales.

It looked to be a frustrating first quarter of the match with Arsenal dominating the statistics and pounding the Swansea goal with little reward.

While many may have argued the score should have been more going into the sheds, Arsenal went in just the one up after a powerful close-range finish from Olivier Giroud.

The pressure on Swansea's goal eventually told in the second half with the hosts' Gylfi Sigurdsson's pocket picked just outside his own box before an Alex Iwobi strike looped over goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski via a big deflection off former Spurs winger Kyle Naughton.

The night went from bad to worse for Naughton who then conceded another own goal off yet another Iwobi strike to make it 3-0 to the visitors.

Superstar forward Alexis Sanchez then made it four with another close-range finish.

The win moves Arsenal into third on the English Premier League table. Meanwhile, the loss was a poor start for new Swansea manager Paul Clement whose job looks cut out for him if he's to steer the Swans to safety.
