Video: Dana White makes big money offer to Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather

The biggest fight in boxing/MMA history between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather looks like it might happen after Dana White tabled an offer to both fighters whilst talking to an American sports show.

The fight has been rumoured to happen since McGregor was awarded a Californian boxing licence back in November.

But with Mayweather saying he's not willing to fight for less than NZ$144 million, the fight looked unlikely to get off the ground.

However White, who is the head of the UFC and who McGregor is currently contracted to, tabled an offer to both fighters whilst talking to Fox Sports radio show The Herd.

"I tell you what Floyd, here's a real offer, and I'm the guy. I'm the guy that can actually make the offer," White told the show's host.

"And I'm actually making a real offer. We'll pay you $25 million (NZ$35.9 million), we'll pay Conor $25 million. And we'll talk about Pay Per View and a certain number. There's a real offer."

White also said on the show that if the fight does eventually happen, he'll stack the undercard so the event resembles a UFC Pay Per View, thinking that it would be better for the fans.

On Saturday afternoon (NZ time), Mayweather responded to White, calling him a comedian but he didn't refuse the offer.
