Joseph Parker will take on Hughie Fury after Fury's promoter Frank Warren announced that the 22-year-old finally put pen to paper on the contract.

During the week, the fight looked like it hit a roadblock after Fury reportedly refused to sign the contract due to financial and pay-per-view concerns.

Any such concerns had to be resolved by 1am Saturday (NZ time) which was the deadline for the contract to be signed.

The fight is likely to take place in Auckland on April 1 after Fury previously took to social media channels to announce the location of the bout.

Fury, whose cousin Tyson was stripped of the WBO belt last year, is the mandatory challenger for Parker and holds a record of 20 wins and zero losses.
