The European raiders could have pinched yet another All Black with Blues flanker Steven Luatua linked with a move to Bristol in England's top tier.

The 15-Test All Black has found himself on the outer with the international team after struggling with form and injuries which led to him missing the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

However, the 25-year-old looked to regain some of his impetus in 2016 and was rewarded with a spot on the All Blacks end of year tour.

The move would see him join former Blues coach Pat Lam who it was announced will take over at Bristol at the beginning of next season.

The 25-year-old's agent Bruce Sharrock told Newshub he didn't want to comment, that they were in discussions with a lot of people and it's premature to say anything.

But Sharrock says Luatua's looking at all options post 2017 when he comes off contract with New Zealand Rugby.

The move would also see him join former New Zealand-based players Jason Woodward, Alapati Leiua, Tusi Pisi and Siale Piutau at the club.

Bristol are currently rooted to the bottom of the Aviva Premiership with just two wins from 14 matches.
