TJ Perenara and Ryan Crotty on Bristol Rugby's wish-list

English top-tier rugby cellar-dwellers Bristol are reportedly chasing more All Blacks after signing loose forward Steven Luatua earlier in the week.

A report in The Bristol Post has suggested that Bristol Rugby is chasing TJ Perenara and Ryan Crotty at the behest of incoming coach Pat Lam who will take over at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season.

Both Crotty and Perenara signed short term contracts with New Zealand Rugby in 2015 and 2016 respectively and are both off-contract at the conclusion of the 2017 season.

However, a move to Bristol would be extremely unlikely for either player considering the team is in the middle of a relegation battle, rooted to the bottom of the Aviva Premiership and five points from its nearest rival.

The team is reportedly planning a significant overhaul of the playing squad after achieving promotion to the Aviva Premiership in 2016 but struggling in the 2016/17 season.

Considering both players have cemented their role in the All Blacks squad in the past 12 months, a move for either would look particularly unlikely.
