All Whites and Leeds United striker Chris Wood has become a target for Premier League club Everton, according to reports out of the UK.

The Football Insider has suggested that the Merseyside-based club is set to make a transfer bid of £15 million ($NZ26m) for the Kiwi as the boss Ronald Koeman attempts to fortify his attacking options in the off season, particularly amid rumours that star forward Romelu Lukaku may be on the move.

Wood's form for championship side Leeds has proved impossible to ignore, his 24-goals putting him atop the list of scorers for the season to date, with the side currently sitting fourth and a genuine contender for promotion.

The transfer would likely be contingent on Leeds Utd not breaking through to the top flight, Wood highly likely to stay with the club should they appear in the EPL next season.

The 25-year-old is currently in camp with the New Zealand squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Fiji, netting a goal from the penalty spot in their 2-0 win in Lautoka on Saturday.
