Former NBA player Pero Antic punches teammate in the face during Euro League match

Former NBA player Pero Antic has brought back the biff to sport, but not in the way you imagining.

The 6ft 11 centre, who plays for Turkish club Fenerbahçe celebrated a referee's call with a fist pump, but his fist accidently punched teammate Nikola Kalinic in the face.

Antic realised what he had done immediately and went over to comfort Kalinic by giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Sadly for Antic and Fenerbahçe, they went on to lose the game 80-77.

Despite throwing a powerful right hand, we don't expect the 34-year old to be challenging for Joseph Parker's WBO World Heavyweight title anytime soon.

Antic played 113 games for the Atlanta Hawks between 2013 and 2015, averaging 6.3 points per game and 3.5 rebounds.

Other former NBA players who currently play for Fenerbahçe include Ekpe Udoh, Jan Vesely, Luigi Datome and former number one pick Anthony Bennett.
