What was once seen to be a rivalry is quickly becoming a period of domination after the Kevin Durant-less Golden State Warriors walloped the Oklahoma City Thunder by 26-points in their own backyard.

Steven Adams opened the scoring and had another strong first five minutes as the Thunder looked to register their first win over the reigning western conference champions.

Keeping the Warriors to 26-25 at the start of the first quarter, that was as close as the Thunder got with too many sloppy errors gifting the attack-minded Warriors the ball and allowing sharpshooters Steph Curry and Klay Thompson to have their way.

Warriors, missing superstar and former Thunder player Kevin Durant, were more accurate when it counted and handled Adams superbly, keeping him to just nine points and one rebound, one of his poorer outings of the season.

Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook was also kept relatively quiet, finishing the night with 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists with Victor Oladipo surprisingly outscoring Westbrook with 17 points.

At the other end of court, Curry scored 23 points while Thompson hit a match high 34 points for the visitors.
