The biggest mountain bike festival in the world rolls into Rotorua later this week, with Crankworx Rotorua set to get underway on March 25th.
The festival features the opening round of the 2017 Endure World Series, and a number of downhill and slope style events based in and around the Skyline Gravity Park, many made possible by the efforts of Chris Martin and Adam King.
After working on overseas, the pair set up their own trail building company Empire Of Dirt in 2012 and helped build the courses for Crankworx's first visit to Rotorua in 2015.
It was a massive success for the event and the Empire boys, who are hard at work making sure the trails will be flowing for 2017.
