Video: Steven Adams chimes in on raging English All Blacks debate

Kiwi NBA star Steven Adams has had his two cents on the 'who's better between the England and All Blacks' debate currently raging around the world.

His stand-up with journalists at an Oklahoma City Thunder training session took an interesting turn when an Australian ESPN journalist asked him about England potentially taking over the All Blacks as the world record holders for consecutive tier one wins.

"Have they? Oh what?" an alarmed Adams said.

England will overtake the All Blacks' 18 consecutive if they emerge victorious in their final Six Nations match against Ireland in Dublin on Sunday morning (NZ time).

Ever the ambassador for New Zealand, Adams took the line that it didn't matter so much because they hadn't played the world number one ranked All Blacks.

"Of course, they have to beat the guys. But [England are] doing well, they weren't doing too good for a while eh but they've started turning it around.

"Bastards, hope they lose," Adams joked.
