Warriors prop Ben Matulino has been named in the Warriors extended 21-man squad for their clash against the Melbourne Storm on ANZAC day.

Matulino has not played for the Warriors in 2017 after undergoing knee surgery in the offseason, but Warriors coach Stephen Kearney believes the 28-year old will be ready.

"Ben's getting closer," said Kearney.

"He has been making good progress since returning to full training and should be ready to play soon."

Mautulino's inclusion in the 21-man squad is the only change, replacing Albert Vete in the squad.

Next Tuesday's clash will be the eighth Anzac Day match between the Storm and the Warriors since the fixture was first introduced in 2009.

The Warriors have already faced the Storm in 2017, but lost the match 26-10.
