Kieran Foran has been ruled out of the Warriors' must-win clash against the Canberra Raiders on Sunday afternoon after suffering a shoulder injury.

Foran failed a fitness test with his shoulder complaint at the team's final training session, but is expected to be available for next week's clash against South Sydney.

The 27-year-old has battled shoulder injuries in the past, having suffered a season-ending shoulder injury last year.

Foran will be replaced by Ata Hingano, who will partner with Mason Lino in the halves.

Hingano, who made his debut late last season, will be making just his 12th NRL appearance, while Lino will be playing his seventh match for the Warriors.

The Warriors head into the match on a five-game losing streak, while the Raiders have won three of their past four matches.

Following the clash against the Raiders, the Warriors will face the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Many Sea Eagles and Wests Tigers to finish off the season.

The Auckland-based club will have to win all those games, along with have a number of results go their way to have a chance of making the playoffs for the first time since 2011.
