  • 16/08/2017

Promising hooker Nathaniel Roache has been ruled out of the Warriors clash against South Sydney on Friday night with a leg injury.

The 21-year-old went down with a leg injury during the team's field session ahead of departing for Sydney this afternoon.

The full extent of the injury is yet to be confirmed.

He joins Shaun Johnson, James Gavet, Albert Vete and Bodene Thompson on the injured list for the club.

The hooker has featured in nine games for the Warriors in 2017.

Roache was expected to start on Friday night, but now Issac Luke is set to start at hooker against his former side at ANZ Stadium, while Jazz Tevaga is likely to be in the bench.

The Warriors have lost their last five matches against the Bunnies.
