The Warriors are set to sign Kiwis utility Peta Hiku on a three-year deal, according to reports.

The 24-year-old is currently contracted to Super League side the Warrington Wolves until the end of the 2019 season, but is set to be released on compassionate grounds.

Hiku played for the Junior Warriors in 2012 and was not offered a new deal at the club, so he moved to Australia to play for the Manly Sea Eagles, and then to the Penrith Panthers.

Hiku has also played nine Tests for the Kiwis.

Earlier in the week, the club confirmed the signing of Gerard Beale from the Cronulla Sharks.

The club has also signed Tohu Harris and Leivaha Pulu for next season.

A decision on Hiku is expected in the next week.
