The Warriors are on the brink of signing Kiwi internationals Adam Blair and Gerard Beale, according to reports from across the Tasman.

Brent Read from The Australian told Triple M on Tuesday morning that the two recruits were a "done deal".

Speculation has been raging over the past few weeks regarding the addition of Broncos forward Blair, while Beale was the subject of similar whispers earlier in the NRL season.

"It's my understanding that [Blair] will go to the Warriors. That's just about a done deal," said Read, a highly reputable source in rugby league circles.

"It will be announced pretty soon. And the same with Gerard Beale.

"Adam Blair's a leader, so they were desperate to get him and it looks like they will.

"Gerard Beale as well, so he'll strengthen their backline."

A member of the Cronulla Sharks' premiership-winning side in 2016, Beale has started the majority of the side's games on the wing this year, although it's likely the Warriors would look to use him to shore up their troublesome centre spots.

Blair still has one year remaining on his contract with the Broncos but has been told he's free to explore his options.

He's reportedly already received an offer from the Auckland-based club for over $NZ1 million per season, which would mean they'd be required to buy out the remainder of his deal in Brisbane to secure his services for 2018 if he were to accept.

Both players will be in action for their respective sides in this weekend's opening round of NRL finals, while the Warriors have failed to advance for the sixth-straight season.
