Former All Black Piri Weepu is hanging up his boots for good.
The halfback is retiring from all levels of rugby, he announced via social media on Saturday.
Weepu played 71 Tests for the All Blacks between 2004 and 2013, which included a World Cup win on home soil in 2011, as well as 84 games for the Hurricanes and 54 for the Wellington province.
After the conclusion of his international career he headed to Europe where he plied his trade with London Wasps, Wasps, Oyonnax and Narbonne, before returning to the Heartland to play for Wairarapa.
With Wairarapa Bush playing its final game of the season on Saturday, the 34-year-old took to Instagram to post his farewell to the game.
