As the most important football game of the last four years approaches, All Whites supporters group, White Noise, are calling for a ‘White Out’ at Westpac Stadium on 11 November.

With qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on the line as New Zealand take on Peru in the first leg of an intercontinental playoff, White Noise spokesperson Dave Richardson says fans can once again make the difference.

"We all have strong memories of that Bahrain game in 2009. It was a perfect mix of colour, noise and of course the result," Richardson said.

"It's rare we get chances like this on home soil so we need to make it count and give the team the best support we can."

"With a record football crowd expected, it’s a real opportunity for 2017 to become the new standard for sporting atmosphere and passion in this country."

"Seeing the entire stadium turn from its iconic yellow to white for the past two intercontinental playoffs was amazing," says All Whites supporter Tracey Hodge.

"It would be great to see a sea of white again. Get a boiler-suit, hunt out the wedding dress, play doctor for the night, reuse the ghost costume from Halloween, heck – paint yourself white!

"It doesn’t matter what, it just matters that it’s white," Hodge said.

New Zealand Football, Ticketek and Westpac Stadium have done a fantastic job at concentrating the active support – a move that will help facilitate a great atmosphere on the day," Richardson added.

"However, the beauty of that Bahrain game, was the rest of the stadium joining in. From aisle one to aisle thirty-six."

"We've got a few things up our sleeves to contribute to an amazing atmosphere.

"But we need the help of everyone attending to maximise home advantage.

"Leave your inhibitions at the gate and become part of the occasion. Scream. Shout. Sing. It all counts."

"We as fans need to bring that passion and colour to Westpac Stadium to support the All Whites and get them home once again.

"A spot at the World Cup next year could depend on it."

White Noise have also released the song sheet for chants they plan on belting out on Saturday afternoon.

Here are a few of the tunes you can expect to here.

Oh Peru (Que Sera, Sera)

Oh Peru, Peru

Wood's gonna score one or two

There'll be no World Cup for you

Oh Peru, Peru

Loving you Brockie (I was made for lovin' you)

I was made for lovin’ you, Brockie

Will you score a goal for me

And if you score a goal for me, Brockie

I will drink responsibly
