Excited Peru football fans have taken to the street outside their team's hotel room in Wellington in anticipation for Saturday's World Cup qualifier.
The fans briefly stood outside the Sofitel on Bolton St on Saturday, honking horns and cheering.
Police say they were not called not the scene and received no reports.
They were, however, called on Friday night to Bolton St as fans took over the road, blocking traffic. A spokesperson said there were no issues and they were quickly moved along.
Peru will face the All Whites at 4:15pm on Saturday at Wellington's Cake Tin.
