Russell Westbrook dominates the Golden State Warriors in OKC's 108-91 win

Russell Westbrook played like a man possessed as the Oklahoma City Thunder routed the Golden State Warriors 108-91.

The reigning league MVP has had a slow start to the season, which has been mirrored by his sides eight-win, nine-loss record.

The point-guard took control from the outset, attacking the basket at any opportunity, steering the Thunder to a 26-point lead midway through the third-quarter.

Westbrook ended with 34-points, 10 rebounds and nine assists OKC secured their first win against the Warriors since their former star, Kevin Durant, jumped ship in 2016.

Carmelo Anthony added 22-points for the homeside while the third member of their big three, Paul George netted 20.

Kiwi centre Steven Adams had another strong game finishing with 12- boards and 14-points.
