Another All Blacks loose forward is being chased by French glamour club Toulon according to French publication Midi Olympique.

According to reports, 43-test All Blacks Liam Messam has agreed to a two-year deal with the southern French club.

Last month, Midi Olympique reported the 33-year-old was being chased by Lyon but it appears Toulon has won the race for his signature.

Toulon is losing two experienced loose forwards with Duane Vermeulen and Juan-Martin Fernandez Lobbe leaving at the end of the French Top 14 season and are after two players with international experience to replace them.

On Thursday, club president Mourad Boudjellal said they will announce "an international-level player in the next 48 hours".

Former All Blacks Ma'a nonu, Malakai Fekitoa, Luke McAlister, Alby Mathewson and currently contracted to the club.
