Winger Nehe Milner-Skudder is set to make his return from injury for the Hurricanes this weekend.

The All Black back has been named on the bench for the side's clash with the Sunwolves in Wellington on Friday night.

Milner-Skudder hasn't played since dislocating his shoulder against the Springboks during last year's Rugby Championship, for which he underwent surgery in October.

Ardie Savea has also been bracketed to start in the No. 7 jersey in his first appearance since March, with brother Julian back on the wing after missing last weekend's match with the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, All Blacks Vaea Fifita and Ngani Laumape have been granted a round off for rest.
