Trent Boult produces scintillating one-handed catch to dismiss Virat Kolhi in IPL

Blackcaps bowler Trent Boult has taken what is being described as the greatest ever catch in the IPL during the Delhi Daredevils' clash against the Royal Challengers on Sunday morning (NZ time).

Challenger batsmen Virat Kohli flicked a full toss from Harshal Patel to deep square leg, and watched on in amazement as Boult timed his jump to perfection - he stuck out his right-hand to catch a ball that looked destined for six, before landing on his stomach inches from the rope.

The umpires and players were stunned, and the catch was reviewed by the third umpire as nobody could believe what they just witnessed.

Former England International Michael Vaughan was amazed at Boult's efforts.

"I think we could quite easily have just seen the greatest ever catch," he said on Twitter.

Sadly for Boult and the Daredevils, they lost the match by six wickets thanks to AB de Villiers scoring an unbeaten 90.
