36 mins - TRY HURRICANES - Simple case of numbers after an extended assault on the line - Milner-Skudder connects with Blade Thomson out wide and the big No. 8 spins inside and waltzes over the line. Barrett hits the conversion. (Canes 21-20)

33 mins - Canes turnover, Fifita puts his head down as they creep towards the 22m....
31 mins - Lam returns with interest from the clearing kick, 30m run through tacklers until he fumbles as he goes to ground. Reds scrum on their 10m.

25 mins - TRY REDS - Beautiful set play from the line-out sees Kerevi back on a awkward angle and through the defensive line, inside ball to Filipo Daugunu who sprints clear to finish under the black dot. Well well well.... (Reds 20-14)
24 mins - Reds earn a penalty and make their way inside the Canes half for a line-out.
22 mins - Penalty against the Reds for an illegal clean-out from the kick-off and the Canes find themselves just 5m out again....through the hands they go, Lam looks to have an easy run -in but he's fumbled the ball forward in attempting to dot down with one hand.
20 mins - TRY REDS - Three phases of pick and go is capped off by the inimitable Tongan Thor, Taniela Tupou rummaging over the chalk for the Reds' first try. Conversion an easy one. (Canes 14-13)
18 mins - Reds make an assault on the line but the defence holds. Penalty blown up just 5m short and they'll opt to set the scrum.
14 mins - TRY HURRICANES - It's that man Ben Lam again - gets the ball 22m out, fends off one while holding the ball extended in one hand, crashes over in the tackle of two and dots down. Barrett nails the sideline conversion. (Canes 14-6)
11 mins - Lousi hits a superb short ball and he's through the gap, nobody in support but the Canes launch from 22m out...
9 mins - Penalty Reds after they recycle a few phases in midfield. Lance will line up another shot from 30m out....no mistake. (Canes 7-6)
7 mins - TRY HURRICANES - Perenara allowed far too much room from the back, puts B. Barrett into a half-gap and he slides over the line for the game's first try, then slots an easy conversion (Canes 7-3)
6 mins - Debutant Umaga-Jensen burrows over the line but he's held up. Another 5m scrum coming.
4 mins - Mistake from the kick-off by the Reds, they're pinned inside their own in-goal and the pressure swarms in to win the Canes a 5m scrum.
