As AirNZ's engine issues continue to force flight delays and cancelations, we thought it would be helpful to find out exactly what's happening and what's being done about it.
The issue is with engines supplied by Rolls Royce, and has affected airlines around the world.
They now need to be checked more frequently than originally planned, which can mean changes to busy flight schedules.
