Surprise video shows how Japanese airports treat luggage

  • 03/04/2018

Planning to travel to Japan? Well you can look forward to having a clean bag upon arrival.

Footage has emerged on Facebook of a Japanese airport staff member gently cleaning each piece of luggage as it comes off the plane.

It is unclear exactly what airport the video was taken but the footage clearly proves the Japanese are more than willing to ensure your luggage is scrubbed upon arrival.

The video is a striking contrast to footage that emerged last year from Luton Airport in the UK. That footage showed baggage handlers throwing suitcases from a conveyor belt to a truck.

Posted to Facebook, the user expressed shock at the manner of disrespect shown by airport staff.

Perhaps more airports around world could learn a thing or two from Japan.
