Thirteen people, including two children, have died when their ferry collided with a cargo boat in the Nile river north of Cairo.
More than 25 people were on board the river ferry when the accident occurred on Wednesday (local time).
Thirteen bodies were pulled out of the water, five passengers were saved and a search was ongoing for seven people still missing, security and hospital sources say.
There were many children on the boat, they added. The ages of the two children who died were not known.
