Passengers used to landing in Wellington will sympathise with those on board a flight landing in Amsterdam yesterday.
This footage was captured by a plane spotter braving the elements as a storm crossed the city.
The pilots of the KLM flight from Osaka have been praised online for their skill in controlling the aircraft in such rough conditions.
Gusts of over 120 kilometres an hour hit the city and dozens of flights were delayed or cancelled.
Authorities say it was the worst July storm to hit the Netherlands since records began.
