Two people were killed and 22 injured when a circus tent collapsed at a carnival in the US state of New Hampshire.
The collapse occurred on Monday amid severe weather warnings in the city of Lancaster, according to ABC affiliate WMUR.
New Hampshire governor Maggie Hassan said a state of emergency had been declared and said officials were helping after the accident.
"State officials working to assist w/ the situation in Lancaster and will continue to monitor the situation closely," Hassan said on Twitter.
The National Weather Service said severe thunderstorms were expected in the area on Monday evening (local time).
Lancaster is about 144 kilometres from the New Hampshire state capital, Concord.
