Air New Zealand has cancelled its already-delayed service to Bali as volcanic ash spewing from the Mount Raung volcano continues to cause travel chaos.
The Auckland to Bali flight, which was originally scheduled for yesterday, was pushed to today as the ash cloud threatened the safety of flights.
But now the service has been scrapped altogether.
Australian carrier Jetstar has also cancelled all flights today while Virgin Australia has delayed its services "in order to assess flight conditions".
The Mount Raung volcano has played havoc with flights since it began spewing corrosive, silica-based ash in early July.
The next scheduled Air New Zealand flight to Bali is on Saturday.
