An Australian hotel has apologised after it offered a "grilled Moroccan Aborigine and rocket salad" for lunch.
Australian journalist Liz Foschia tweeted a picture of the dish on offer at the Canberra Hyatt Hotel's lunch buffet.
A response from the hotel's international Twitter account said it was "definitely a unique menu option".
"Hope it's as good as it is complicated :) Have a fabulous day at Hyatt Canberra."
The dish is understood to have been a spellcheck error, meant to read "aubergine and rocket salad".
The hotel's buffet lunches are changed every day and the label was promptly removed.
The hotel later apologised in a statement.
"Hyatt Hotel Canberra in sincerely sorry that one of today's salads was mislabelled and we deeply apologise for any offence caused. Hyatt Hotel is a multi-cultural company and an equal opportunity employer."
