Three children have suffered burns after being set on fire in Perth.
Police were called to the home in Doubleview in Perth's northern suburbs around midnight after reports a man was causing a disturbance.
An off-duty police officer intervened after further reports a flammable liquid had been poured on the children and around the house before being set alight.
The officer removed the children and performed emergency first-aid.
A boy and a girl were assessed for burns at Princess Margaret children's hospital, while another girl remains in Royal Perth Hospital with more extensive burns.
A 43-year-old man has been charged with one count of aggravated grievous bodily harm and two counts of attempted grievous bodily harm.
Police have cordoned off the house as a scene examination is underway.
