A 19-year-old black US man has been shot and killed by a white police officer, a year after a similar shooting sparked protests in Ferguson, Missouri.
Christian Taylor was shot by an officer-in-training as he drove an SUV through the glass doors of a car dealership on Friday night (local time), in Texas, reports USA Today.
The teen, who was unarmed, died at the scene.
Police said the man who shot Mr Taylor, Brad Miller, was under supervised field training at the time of the incident. He had joined the police department in September last year and graduated from training academy in March.
The death came as hundreds of people gathered to observe four-and-a-half minutes of silence to mark one-year since the death of Michael Brown, another unarmed black teen shot dead by police.
