Actress Emmy Rossum has ended the summer with an engagement ring and a wedding to plan after accepting her writer/director boyfriend Sam Esmail's proposal.
The actress' representative has confirmed Esmail popped the question to Rossum over the weekend in Los Angeles.
Rossum and Esmail, who directed his bride-to-be in last year's (14) romantic comedy/drama Comet, have been dating for two years.
The Phantom of the Opera star was previously married to music executive Justin Siegel, but they split in 2010 after almost two years together.
