United States Air Force aircraft have conducted a fly-past at Base Ohakea in New Zealand.
Two C-17 Globemasters and three C-130 Hercules took part in the fly-past yesterday, the New Zealand Defence Force says.
The aircraft are in New Zealand to participate in Exercise Southern Katipo 2015 and had earlier performed an air drop at Raumai Range.
Personnel from New Zealand and eight other countries - Australia, Canada, Fiji, France, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, the United Kingdom, and the United States are taking part in the month-long exercise.
The New Zealand Navy is marking its 75th anniversary in 2016 and the US Navy has been invited to attend, potentially ending a 33-year hiatus of visits by US Navy ships.
