3 News reporter Melissa Davies had her live cross in central Paris cut short this morning (NZ time) following reports of gunshots in the area.
Davies was reporting near the Bataclan theatre, where hundreds were gathered to mourn those killed in the weekend's attacks.
"We're just getting reports of some shots in the area so people are actually leaving this site," she told the Paul Henry programme.
"We've been advised to move on. There's a lot of confusion, panic, people are running."
The situation was later revealed to be a false alarm.
