Soap opera star, Sian Blake, and her two children have been missing since December 13.

Police have found three bodies at the EastEnders actress' south-east London home, the BBC reports.

Blake, 43, and her two young sons, aged four and eight, were reported missing by her partner and father of the children, Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48, who went missing three days later.

The Met Police said the bodies were found in the garden and a murder investigation was under way.

The actress and the boys, Zachary and Amon, were last seen in Waltham Forest, north-east London.

A detective for the Met Police said: "As yet, we have not formally identified the bodies but this is a significant development and Sian's family have been informed".

Police had earlier revealed that Blake's car had been found in east London on January 3, although it is not known how it came to be there, according to the BBC.

Blake, who has motor neuron disease, played Frankie Pierre in the soap between 1996 and 1997.
