A dancing gorilla makes for a dizzying viewing experience, but the video has attracted almost two million views on Facebook.
The star, three-year-old silverback male Lope, lives at Twycross Zoo in Leicestershire.
Helen Fairhead was visiting the zoo when she managed to capture the gorilla twirling and spinning around his enclosure with his arm outstretched, as though on a ballroom floor.
However, all the turning seems to be too much to handle, and Lope soon flops to the floor.
Zoo director of life sciences Dr Charlotte Macdonald told BBC Lope's "dance" is him playing, an important aspect of a young ape's behaviour.
