Rio families forcefully relocated ahead of Olympics

It's a familiar story in the run-up to any Olympic Games -- the host city's scramble to get everything ready on time.

However, in Rio de Janiero that also includes relocating 4000 families who live around the Olympic Park, many of whom don't want to go.

It's also the transport network that's behind schedule, needing a significant upgrade to be able to carry hundreds of thousands of extra passengers a day. The cost of staging the Rio games is estimated to be $16.9 billion. There are 32 sporting venues, many of which have been built specifically for the event. An extension of the city's metro system costing millions is yet to be completed.
