An elderly polish couple shocked London nightclubbers when they turned up to a popular club and danced until 5am.
The couple, from Poland's capital of Warsaw, were visiting their daughter when read about the club and decided to hit the town.
Both in their 80s, they bought tickets online to underground house and techno party WetYourSelf and arrived at the door open time of 10pm.
The clubs promoter and DJ Jacob Hansen thought they had become lost when he saw them make their way down the stairs.
"I thought they were maybe relatives of someone from the club, but then I spoke to the people on the door and they said they had tickets," he told the Standard.
"I ran down to welcome them to the club, I said 'it's amazing you're here' and gave them a drink.
"They had two tequila shots and she gave me a high five."
He then tried desperately to find someone who spoke Polish so he could learn their story.
When he did, he found out the wife had bought tickets to the club online, after the pair decided they'd like to check out London nightlife.
They said they enjoyed spending their Saturday nights back home in Warsaw clubs, and had planned to take the train back to their daughters at 6am.
Mr Hansen told them they could drink for free and offered them a taxi when they wanted to leave.
He took them to the VIP area and brought them their drink of choice -- a cup of tea each -- but when he returned they had disappeared.
He found them on the dance floor, raving to techno -- they didn't want to stay upstairs, they wanted to party.
At 5am they said they'd like to leave so Mr Hansen got them a taxi.
"The thing I really, really loved was they had so much humour between them," he explained.
"In ten years of doing this every Sunday it's the best experience I've had -- it's just amazing."
