An advertisement for a Chinese washing detergent is being dubbed the most racist commercial of 2016.
The video, posted to YouTube, begins with a woman, seemingly innocently doing some laundry, when a black man approaches her.
She places him in the washing machine and he reappears as Chinese man.
The ad is promoting a new laundry product by Qiaobi, a "star brand that creates a new concept for scientifically doing laundry," according to a press release.
