A motorcyclist is lucky to be alive after he was propelled into an oncoming vehicle north of Sydney.
He and a friend were enjoying a scenic ride on a back road to Hunter Valley when he lost control on a bend.
In a video posted to In the World of Biker on Facebook, the rider can be seen being flung off his bike after hitting an oncoming car.
He manages to get up quickly, and replies "I'm fine", when a woman is heard yelling "Are you alright?"
Consequently the rider videoing was also knocked to the ground.
