There was only ever one thing that was going to overshadow the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations in London -- an act of cuteness from one of her great-grandchildren.
It's something Prince George has now become synonymous with, after recently meeting US president Barrack Obama in a gown and slippers -- but his younger sister Princess Charlotte has always been too young to participate in public outings.
However, as thousands of people lined the streets to witness the Royal Airforce fly past Buckingham Palace, Charlotte decided it was her time to hit the headlines by waving to the public as the family posed on the balcony.
The picture went viral soon after it was taken and sent social media into a frenzy.
Before the fly past, the Queen had been at the Trooping the Colour ceremony at Horse Guards Parade, which is playing host to 1400 soldiers, 200 horses and over 400 musicians.
