A poll of Britons' views ahead of June 23's referendum on European Union membership showed a smaller lead for the "Remain" campaign, according to market research company Opinium.
Opinium on Saturday said an online survey of 2007 adults conducted between May 31 and June 3 showed 43 per cent intended to vote to stay in, while 41 percent said they would vote to leave.
Some 16 percent were undecided or did not want to say.
A previous Opinium poll for the Observer newspaper released on May 21 showed 44 percent of people wanted to stay in the EU, versus 40 percent who wanted to leave.
