Video: Perth mosque attacked by petrol bomb

A mosque in Perth has been targeted by vandals, in an apparent anti-Islamic attack.

A suspected petrol bomb was set off inside a parked car near the building at Thornlie, around 8pm local time last night, while the Mosque was in session.

A video of the incident shows firefighters battling to bring the blaze under control, while hundreds of worshippers prayed inside.

Witnesses said they heard explosions and saw three people running from the scene, and anti-Islamic graffiti was written across a wall.

Fortunately, no one was injured, but witnesses have spoken of their shock at the hate attack.

Police are still searching for the offenders.
