Meet SweePee Rambo, the 17-year-old Chinese crested chihuahua winner of the 2016 World's Ugliest Dog contest.
SweePee is blind in both eyes, has to wear dog nappies, has legs bowed out and an oozing sore. She beat off the competition of 15 other pooches for the honour.
The win landed SweePee and her human companion Jason Wurtz a trophy and US$1,500 prize, which he says will be used to pay for a tumour removal his beloved dog requires.
Mr Wurtz's younger brother Jeffrey burst into tears when SweePee was announced the winner, shouting her name and waving a sign that read "SweePee Rambo for President 2016".
The World's Ugliest Dog contest, now on its 28th year, took place at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in Petaluma, California on Friday night (local time).
