At least 24 people have been injured in an explosion on a commuter train in Taiwan's capital, Taipei.
One of the train's cars burst into flames after a firecracker-like device detonated, according to the director of Taiwan's national police, Chen Kuo-en.
Investigators found "a 15cm-long broken metal tube stuffed with explosive material inside a black backpack" on inspection of the train, according to police bomb squad chief Lee Tzu-wen.
Taiwan's premier Lin Chuan told media he believed the blast was deliberate and not an accident.
