A disruptive American Airlines passenger being tackled to the floor by a pilot has been caught on video, in what is being hailed as a heroic act.
Twenty-five-year-old passenger Michael Kerr was slurring his words, refusing to take his seat and manhandling a flight attendant as he tried to barge his way into the cockpit. That's when the pilot, who hasn't been named, stepped in.
"Enough" he says. "You don't put your hands on my flight attendant!"
The man was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive, assault on a female, communicating threats and interfering with the duties of a flight or crew attendant, the Observer reported.
The incident occurred on July 21, but the footage has only recently surfaced.
